The elections are tomorrow…and that is all I’m going to say about that. Instead, let’s talk about trashy TV and why I love it and it soothes my soul. Enter the best line ever from *coughOneTreeHillcough:
“Gold, Godiva, Gucchi, Gerbera” (said just like that).
Needless to say, favorite jewelry, chocolate, purse, and flowers. And while I may be more of a “Silver, Lindt, Kate and Gerbera” girl…I do love how that flows, almost enough to change my loves…except not. But right up there came a great line about photocopiers.
So I am the office fix it girl. And me and photocopiers have a love/hate relationship (kinda like my relationship with most boys), I love them and they love to make me hate them. But in my not so classy TV watching there was a really sappy comment about printer jams, in a lovely sappy metaphor to life. It went something along the lines of “the best part of a paper jam, is that you can open the machine up and figure out what went wrong in the first place.” And honestly, so true and whoa so I feel pathetic saying that.
We run out copier to the ground at work, making demands and expecting it to keep up with the insanity. Every now and then, I have to yank the stupid thing apart, pull out the jam and let it cool down. And darn it all, now I’m thinking about all the jammed up mess that makes me a tad faulty at time.
Great, that is all I needed going into tomorrow, to think of myself as a clunky, enormous copier.
