“So unaware of the world”

Title Song: check
Sob Story: N/A
Absurd List: check plus

So if you couldn’t guess…it’s time for an absurd list, and a proof that I don’t even remember what stories I’ve actually blogged. But needless to say, and diving right in, a month or so ago I was talking to my mom about people I want to meet before I die. And I said Alton Brown, the food network personality and chef. The convo went something like this:

Me: I mean…on my list of people to meet, Alton is high up there now
Mom: You should email him and be like, “You are on my list of people to meet (or get a signed book from) and as I’ve already met the President, First Lady and Secretary of State, you are next.”
Me: Thanks Mom, now I sound nuts.

But the thing is I really may be that nuts. So without further ado, my list of people to meet that I can think so at the moment (line through when accomplished):

President Bush
Mrs. Bush
Jenna Bush
Secretary Rice

Alton Brown, Good Eats and Iron Chef: America
Kate Spade, the Best Handbags Ever
Christian Lander, Stuff White People Like
Duff Goldman, Charm City Cakes
Jon McLaughlin, Singer/Songwriter
Patrick Doyle, Composer (Sense & Sensibility and Harry Potter & the Goblet of Fire)
The Cute Boy in Center Stage (I do know his name, that is how people I know referred to him)
Anne Hathaway
Graydon Carter, EIC of Vanity Fair
Marc Brown, writer of Arthur
Nora Roberts, (no comments from the peanut gallery on that one)
Tina Fey

Also, there is going to be a small change to the blogroll over the next couple of days. It’ll be great and will provide even more procrastination tools.
