We’re going to call this, “The Best of the Internet since January.” Because, well, it’s been a while. What I lack in timeliness, I make up in content. That could be a lie, but either way, I enjoyed them (and they cover a wide reach of topics). Today, I offer you champagne, mixed race commentary, dance, cheese, pasta, and a KFC romance novel. And a few other bits of greatness.

- A beautiful champagne bar in SF that has a popcorn machine. This is my dream.
- My love of all things cheese is high, so is my love of history. When you combine that into a Bon Appetit article on the history of Boursin cheese, we have found my bliss.
- An oldie(ish) but a good, because Meghan Markle and I pretty much are the same person. We’re both biracial women, we both look amazing in a pencil skirt, we’re both dating Prince Harry….oh wait. Okay, well, we’re both biracial. And she loves the “what are you question” about as much as I do.
- Ever wondered how you would change a 777 jet-engine on a Canadian island that is technically in the Arctic? I’m here for you (and the nice writer at Popular Mechanics).
- All the Disney memes.
- Any sort of dance films/videos makes me happy (from gems like Center Stage to YouTube videos from the NYCB). This wonder from American Ballet Theatre’s Daniil Simkin and Cassandra Trenary, makes me want to stretch and twirl (in black & white).
- Loving Jess Connolly more and more with posts like this: “Women of God: Please come undone.“
- In honor of Mother’s Day, KFC (yes, the chicken people) has release a romance novel about Col. Sanders (and chicken, at least that is what I’m guessing). You’re welcome.
- Reading through the archive of Chef Sara Jenkins articles on Italian cuisine from The Atlantic.
- When I stumble across an article titled “16 Lessons I Learned from a Year of Traveling (and Eating) Around the World” all I can this is, I hope the first lesson is how I can eat and travel the world for a year.
