Cake isn’t trendy right now, unless in cupcake form, but it’s still a wedding tradition. Toppers…well now we’re just getting creative. I’ve seen great little wooden peg people, but today’s photo, well, let’s just say it takes the cake. :) How sweet are the balloons on that cake? How sweet is that cake stand (I’m bias, I own that one). What are other unique toppers that you’ve seen out there? This topper can be found here at the Etsy shop of Potter and Butler.
Balloons. Who doesn’t love them? How can you not smile when you see one? Doesn’t everyone dream of a giant balloon with fringe? Okay, that may have been pushing it a bit far. Moving on. Geronimo balloons has been creating what can only be called balloon art for less then a year now, but is already much loved. Especially for the fun element it brings to photos. It also can’t help but bring a smile to your face when you see it. Have I mentioned they are giant? More information can be found online at geronimoballoons.com
When in doubt pick a theme. My mantra of the day. (Don’t worry, my usual mantra of hire a planner/coordinator will be back next week). Are you confused as to table decorations? Not sure what the overall look of a space should be? Eclectic and nothing is matching? Simple answer: Pick a theme. This wedding was feature on Green Wedding Shoes and I love, love, love it. Just because you have a theme doesn’t mean it needs to be cookie cutter. This couple used Up (yes the movie) as their starting point and then went wild. With amazing results. Any good wedding themes that you have seen done or done yourself? For the full feature on the Up Wedding, visit greenweddingshoes.com
